This is the Novarossi 35 Plus 21 "A Engine" Competition On Road Engine. This engine is similar to the standard 35 Plus 21 in regards to features and performance, but now includes the lightweight 'Flash' style cooling head. This cooling head features six cuts and drilled holes to help reduce weight and improve the handling of the vehicle. Additionally, this engine includes a steel rear bearing to make this awesome mill more affordable than before.
Features:
- Piston: The material was chosen for its excellent strength to weight properties. The shape of the top of the piston is Novarossi's 'Compact Combustion Technology' which improves the efficiency of the engine. This piston is also milled from a single block which further increases the strength.
- Conrod: The R7 conrod is made from a super light aluminum which has been checked ultrasonically. The specific form of the R7 creates very little turbulence inside the engine while running.
- Sleeve: The sleeve is manufactured with 9 transfer ports and an exhaust with booster ports, designed using fluid-dynamics studies, the maximum power has been increased, and reduces fuel consumption.
- Rear Cover: The rear cover features a round shape to minimizes the dead space and allows easy access for quick check-up.
- Rear Ball Bearing: The rear ball bearing has high quality steel balls to
- Front Ball Bearing: This type of Front Ball Bearing has a thickness of 5mm, this prevents fuel spillage between the carter/crankshaft and the bearing.
- Carburetor: The carburetor is available with a sliding throttle valve. The use of interchangeable venturi's allow the engine to be tuned for any track condition.
- Crankshaft: The crankshaft is ground to increase the mixture flow and has a special shape to reduce turbulence inside the crankcase. The balancing is done by two inserts made of tungsten alloy and the inlet has a silicon filling to reduce the weight of the crankshaft to improve acceleration. The ball bearing was lowered to 5mm.
- Glowplug: The glowplug is a Turbo type glowplug. Turbo glowplugs have a different shape than Standard glowplugs and are not interchangeable with Standard glowplugs!
