Brother of the Boost 3TR .21 the 5TR uses the same technology and only the finest materials. Factory drivers find this engine very powerful and able to utilise higher gear-ratios. Especially strong at low and mid rpm range the Boost 5TR can have a different drive handling compare to the 3TS and 3TR. Internally designed with 5 ports the Boost offers a linear characteristic of power output.
The Boost is supplied with a 14mm "turbo" silicone-filled crankshaft to improve fuel flow, "knife edged" aerodynamic connecting rod, hard chromed brass lapped liner with 5 ports, lightened piston CNC machined from high percentage silicone alloy billet, large size finned turbo combustion chamber insert for a better temperature dissipation, ultra light weight cooling head, 14mm Swiss quality main bearing, front dust protection rubber sealed bearing and a composite slide carburetor with 6.0mm and 7.0mm venturi inserts.
